FAQs
What is the average waiting time for surgery at your clinic?
Following consultation surgery can be scheduled within a few weeks, depending on procedure and time of year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for plastic surgery can vary. If you have a specific date request please get in touch with us and we will do our best to schedule your operation on the most convenient date.
How long do Hyaluronic acid fillers last on the lips?
Lip fillers is a fast and practical method of temporary lip volume enhancement that is performed under local anesthesia. We only use specially developed fillers designed to enhance lip volume and give a natural look and soft feel. Due to constant movement of the lips during speech and chewing, lip fillers tend to last a bit less than on other areas of the face, usually around 3 to 6 months.
What areas of the body can be treated with Diode Laser for permanent hair removal?
Diode laser hair removal treatment can be safely used on all parts of the body in men and women, even on slightly tanned skin. Some of the most common areas include upper lip, armpits, legs and bikini.
Where do you perform your surgeries?
Most surgeries are performed at GENESIS Hospital in Thessaloniki, which is a privately owned facility and has a special department for Plastic Surgery. The training and specialization of the department staff in Plastic surgery procedures ensures that accommodation conditions and patient safety are of the highest level.
Can I have multiple cosmetic surgery procedures at the same time?
In certain cases, two surgical procedures can be done simultaneously. The most common procedures that can be combined are tummy tuck/ liposuction and breast augmentation/ lift. However, as safety is our top priority, careful patient selection and surgical planning is mandatory in order to avoid any major complications.
Should breast augmentation be performed before or after pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Technically, surgery can be done in both cases. Having breast augmentation before any pregnancy is totally safe and, indeed, most women have their surgery during early adult age. However, if having a child in the immediate future is planned, we suggest that breast augmentation is postponed until after that. Pregnancy and breastfeeding can alter the size and shape of the breast and, thus, the outcome of the operation.
How often should facial fillers be repeated?
The duration between treatment varies as different types of fillers are used to different areas of the face. Usually, it is enough to repeat your treatment every 6 to 18 months in order to maintain a nice result. We advise you to always have a thorough conversation with your plastic surgeon before any filler treatment.
I have trouble breathing and a slightly crooked nose. Could these be corrected at the same time in one rhinoplasty?
It is very common that cosmetic and functional nose problems coexist. These can be addressed in a single surgery and we always suggest to deal with both problems simultaneously.
What areas of the body can liposuction treat?
Liposuction is an efficient way to remove or reduce excess fat from a certain area of the body. The most common fat deposits that we treated are the outer thighs, hips and knees for women, waist and back for men, neck and abdomen.
