As of recently, it has become a popular medical travel destination, especially for plastic surgery procedures. This harbor city offers great diversity with numerous ancient monuments and museums, fabulous food, shopping, cultural and nightlife hotspots. Thessaloniki is situated at the seafront with a five-kilometer-long esplanade where visitors can enjoy walking. The city is a good starting point for day trips and visits to Halkidiki’s turquoise beaches.

How do I get to Thessaloniki?
If you live abroad the easiest way to get to Thessaloniki is by plane. Several airlines have direct services to Thessaloniki. Its airport (Macedonia International Airport by IATA code SKG) is located 15 km from the city center. The taxi fare between the airport and the city costs approximately 20-30€.
Where should I stay during my visit?
There are countless different possibilities for accommodation. Most of our patients choose an accommodation in the city center where our clinic is located which makes it convenient for consultations and post operative care. Staying at the city center and depending on the type of surgery planned, you can explore Thessaloniki’s most interesting points by walking.
Most surgeries take place at the Plastic Surgery department at Genesis Hospital, which is close to the city center and our patients need to travel there only once. One taxi journey from the center of Thessaloniki to the hospital costs approximately 10€.
Do you organize medical trips?
