The term cellulite refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin that some people, mostly women, have on their hips, thighs, and buttocks. The lumpiness of cellulite is caused by fat deposits that push and distort the connective tissues beneath skin, leading to the characteristic changes in appearance of the skin. Family history of cellulite is a major risk factor. Pregnancy and an inactive lifestyle may increase the risk of developing cellulite.
The new 3-ΜΑΧ Plus platform combines three technologies (Cavitation, Multipolar RF, Vacuum RF) that help destroy and evacuate fat cells from the human body. It is very safe and effective and can be used for both cellulite and local fat deposits in all body areas.
Cavitation
Ultrasonic cavitation targets specifically the fat tissue and damages the cell membrane. The broken fat cells are then released in the interstitial fluid and eventually absorbed and metabolized out of the body by the lymphic system.
Multipolar Radiofrequency
The multipolar radiofrequency energy penetrates the skin’s layers to selectively heat the skin tissue. The local heating stimulates the fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastic fibers and also rearranges the existing collagen fibers. The results are tighter, smoother skin with a visible lift. It is a painless treatment for skin tightening, collagen production and cellulite reduction.
Vacuum
Vacuum helps the destroyed fat cells to be evacuated effectively trough the lymphatic system. When combined with radiofrequency the skin becomes smoother and younger looking.
How many sessions are necessary to achieve optimal results?
Eight to ten sessions are usually enough to see satisfactory results. Certain treatment protocolls are followed after your initial consultation with the plastic surgeon.
