The Doctor

Dr. Ioannis Gkotsikas is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Thessaloniki, Greece.

He received his medical degree from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and begun his training in general surgery at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden. Dr. Gkotsikas completed his specialist training in plastic surgery at the Plastic Surgery Department of the University of Thessaloniki and at the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Department of the University Hospital “Karolinska” in Stockholm.

He continues to expand his knowledge and expertise in the field of plastic surgery by attending international training seminars and conferences. In the context of his doctoral thesis at the Medical School of the Aristotle University, Dr. Gkotsikas studied the effect of the use of topical negative pressure in the incorporation of skin grafts.

Since 2010, Dr. Gkotsikas is board-certified and a regular member of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS). He practices aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery and personally performs all non-surgical treatments at his private practice in Thessaloniki.
